  • For use in adults and children over 12 years of age.
  • The local use of fluoride toothpastes or mouthwashes is compatible with the systemic administration of fluoride, since it increases protection against caries.
  • However, the potential use of fluoride sources can lead to fluorosis. In order to avoid accumulations, it is essential to make an individual assessment of fluoride intake (mineral water, fluoridated salt, medications in the form of fluorinated tablets, drops, gum or toothpaste) before prescribing any fluoride treatment.

What are the possible side effects?

The expected side effects of this product are mainly due to the excipients, such as oral irritation and hypersensitivity reactions such as contact dermatitis and, in rare cases, bronchospasm and urticaria. The risk of overdose exists essentially in children due to excessive ingestion. Symptoms of acute poisoning include gastrointestinal disturbances such as vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. The treatment consists of stomach lavage, and the neutralization of gastric acid with the ingestion of calcium (or a large amount of milk).

USE TIPS  

Tips for use:

  • For maximum effectiveness, perform a careful brushing with Fluocaril bi-fluoré 250 mg, 3 times a day after meals, vertically from the gum towards the tooth.
  • A careful brushing should last about 3 minutes.

How to store Fluocaril bi-fluoré 250 mg mint, toothpaste:

  • Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
  • Use preferably before the end of the date indicated on the package.
  • Do not store at a temperature above 25°C.
