What are the disadvantages of dropshipping?

CONTROL INVENTORY

If you have the products you sell in stock, it is relatively easy to control which items are available and which are out of stock. But when you're taking products from an outside warehouse, which in turn also fulfills orders for other merchants, the inventory changes from day to day.

• Colagenomania undertakes to have a minimum stock of 100 units of those products agreed with the merchant.
• If you currently have an Inventory of Masks, and you want them to be in our warehouse , we will use your current inventory until it is exhausted in your orders and if you authorize us in orders from other merchants, at a price of 1.75 euros + VAT.

SHIPPING LOGISTICS

Let's say your customer places an order for three items, all of which are available but from different vendors. You will have to pay three separate shipping costs to ship each item to the customer, but it is not advisable to pass this charge on to the customer, as they will think you are charging outrageously for shipping. And even if you wanted to pass this cost on to the customer, calculating it automatically can be difficult.

OUR DROPSHIPPING MODEL:

• This problem is not frequent in these products, since the purchase of Masks does not usually involve any additional purchase.
• Our transport costs are low, 4.15 euros per order, if the order is less than 50 euros. If it is higher, shipping is free.
• We recommend informing the customer that in order to reduce costs, the shipment is made directly from our warehouse. It can be a good marketing message.
